Testimonials

Read what our past students  have to say about their experience with the Art, Craft & Design course at Abbeyleix FETC

“Before starting Level 5 I was set on entering a four-year game design course, instead of pursuing painting like I had always wanted. I thought that the only way to get into the entertainment industry was by having a qualification with the job name slapped on it. Through guidance from the tutors and my own extensive research completed for Work Experience, I found I can still enter the industry I admire with the painting qualification I want to achieve.!”

“Returning to education as a mature student on the Art, Craft and Design programme has been a whole new experience. The year has been very positive and life changing for me. The opportunity to try all the different disciplines and techniques feels like a really good grounding as a whole and I am now looking forward to continuing my studies in art. The course has given me the confidence to continue on with art.”
