Academic Timetable

“Going back to education was by far the best decision but hardest I have ever made. Being a full time student and a parent to young children I didn't see how this journey was going to be possible. Joining the LOETB in Abbeyleix was a decision I will never regret, I made new friends, and was fully supported by all the tutors throughout the year long programme. I initially only wanted to complete my level 5 healthcare support module but have now decided to progress to 3rd level education in SETU Carlow to study a level 8 degree in social care. There were difficult days throughout my year long course but with the help, support and encouragement from the tutors and my fellow classmates I completed my course to a very high standard. I cannot recommend enough to anyone how supporting the centre is, in every aspect of study. I gained huge knowledge around Healthcare, completed work experience and developed massive social skills to help with my further studies. My motto in life is dream, believe and achieve, because anything is possible if you believe in yourself."
